Parent / Carer and Toddler Support
Free service
This is a free service available to any parents and carers with children from birth to five years. Through it, we help families building on their home learning environment, while also providing support to those who may be experiencing loneliness or need additional or specific support.

Early Years Nurseries
Safe and caring environments for pre-schoolers
Both our nurseries cater for pre-school children from the ages of two to five years, five days a week during term time; not just from Tillydrone, but from across the city. Regulated by the Care Inspectorate, we encourage our children to learn through their activities and their interactions, while in a caring environment, so that they can achieve their full potential.

After School Club
Child-led activities
Catering for children from the ages of five to twelve years, our After School Club is the only out of school care service in Tillydrone. Our indoor and outdoor activities are identified and led by children with support from our highly experienced staff team and through play and participation we ensure the children in our care have positive experiences. They can explore, create, investigate, build relationships and learn and develop new skills.

Junior & Senior Youth Clubs
Learn life skills
Our youth work is neither social care nor formal teaching, but instead sees us encourage and support our young people as they continue participating in learning, giving them the tools they need to develop their resilience, as well as the social and emotional skills they need for life. The children who attend our youth clubs enjoy their recreation time with us, making their own decisions in a safe, supported and fun environment, while using their energy and enthusiasm to bring about change and make a real contribution to society.

Family Support
Help when it’s needed
Building strong relationships with our families is important to us. Our family support service offers help to families to prevent issues from escalating and, equips families with the information or skills they need to achieve and sustain positive outcomes for the whole family.

Holiday Clubs
Support during school holidays
Taking place during the Easter, Summer and October breaks, our holidays clubs enable us to meet the needs of local families by providing a range of fun activities for our children and young as well as free, nutritious meals, helping alleviate childcare costs for those in need.

Building Hire / Lets
Our Dill Road facility recently benefitted from extensive renovation and, when not in use by ALC, it is used by the local community, external agencies and other third sector organisations for meetings and workshops. Featuring a 27 x 16 metre games hall, the building can be hired privately by groups from Aberdeen for sporting activities such as football, basketball and badminton.
