Kindly Donated Christmas Tree Lights Up ALC Nursery

Thanks to the generosity of Aberdeen couple Mark Davie and Emily Findlay, we are now the proud owners of a fantastic 10ft, fully-decorated Christmas tree.
Mark and Emily kindly donated the tree to ALC and it is now standing tall in our nursery in St George’s Church.
We are always grateful for the support we receive from the Aberdeen community and would like to thank Emily and Mark so much for this particularly kind gift.
ALC manager, Angie Johnston said: “Christmas is such a wonderful time of year, especially for our children, so how lovely to have such a fantastic tree in our nursery.
“This time next year we’ll be back in our own club building on Dill Road, but for now it’s great to see the tree, with all its lights and baubles, brightening up the hall in St George’s.
“Thanks goes to Mark and Emily for thinking of ALC, and for their kindness this festive season.”
Emily added: “ALC does such great work in the community and so Mark and I were delighted to be able to gift this tree to the charity.
“I work for Befriend A Child and know all too well how important it is that we support our children and young people.
“There’s nothing lovelier than seeing youngsters enjoying themselves, with smiles on their faces and our hope that this Christmas tree brings them a wee bit of joy.”
