ALC Aberdeen Joins CFINE FareShare Project – Providing Free Accessible Food to Our Community

ALC Aberdeen is proud to be part of the CFINE FareShare Project, helping provide free, accessible food to families and individuals in our local community.

FareShare is the UK’s largest charity tackling hunger and reducing food waste. Through FareShare Grampian, Highlands & Islands, CFINE covers seven local authority areas: Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Moray, Highlands, Western Isles, Orkney, and Shetland.

As part of the FareShare scheme, ALC Aberdeen helps redistribute perfectly good, surplus food to Community Food Members (CFMs) – frontline charities and community groups that support people experiencing food insecurity.

By participating in this project, we are able to provide vital food resources to families in need, while also contributing to a more sustainable and waste-conscious community.

Together, we can fight hunger and support our community – one meal at a time.
